Bytten: quick hits for 03.27
I'm sick today, and not in a good, Boston-type way. But cold and flu sick. Can't-believe-it's-not-winter sick. And as such, I'm quite grumpy. So here are your quick hits today, bad news edition. Please, somebody get me some soup.
- iTunes is sellingDVD-length music videos, but first out of the water is Tori Amos. That icicle leaves me frigid. I'm sure Andy will love it, though.
- This makes me want to kick Hamlet's indecisive ass. Denmark is apparently thinking of tagging along after France and forcing Apple to open iTunes' FairPlay DRM. If this kind of stuff keeps spreading, Apple is in big trouble. It's one thing to write off France, but you can't ignore all of Europe.
- BusinessWeek puts Apple at the top spot on it's BusinessWeek 50 index of best performing companies. I have nothing snide to say about this. Unfortunately.
- The Apple Music v. Apple Computer battle has hit the courts. Again. Let's all take a moment to reflect on Yoko Ono. There. That was great, wasn't it? I'm off to bed now.
